Tea and TED at 3

I will think of you, you think of me, when we have Tea and TED at 3! Today we are watching ‘Different ways of knowing’ Will you be joining us? #ShowMeTheTea

Fabulous Feedback

We had some great feedback from the IMechE Event we supported in May…

“I found recognising different styles, how to improve listening and making time to reflect on communication very helpful”

“The animal styles really illustrate the difference in people’s communication preferences” – Dominic Geraghty

“I have learnt not to ‘pounce’ on an audience with lengthy lists of information”

“Good presentation content and interaction with audience. I learned to listen carefully and look at things from others perspectives” – Rob Davis

Delegate Poem

Another fun poem from a delegates experience on our Developing Inspirational Leaders programme.

“Day 1 Myers Briggs taught us we’re not all the same
Day 2 was all about the cane game
Day 3 Shona taught us how to motivate and more important for us lazy folk to delegate
Day 4 was about awkward folk, we learned how to stop them sulk
Day 5 we failed at Red and Green, all because Bill’s too mean
Shona’s taught us loads of stuff. Next its commercial for their guff”

Presenteeism

I got excited when I first read this CIPD headline “Presenteeism hits record high in UK organisations”, however what it really means is that we are going to work even when we are so ill we shouldn’t be there. What are your experiences of this?

Tea and TED at 3

I will think of you, you think of me, when we have Tea and TED at 3! Today we are watching ‘Watch me play … the audience!’ Will you be joining us? #ShowMeTheTea

Short and sweet but I bet you will be humming this for the rest of the day.

Let’s Share Ideas

We love that the CIPD L&D Show talked about “Learning professionals need learning too”. We have one day a month where we develop together over lunch. What are you doing in your organisation? Let share ideas.

Together is Better

Food for thought….how many of us don’t ask for help?

Reverse Mentoring

We have been sharing our reverse mentoring stories. Here is one from the CMI to help understand it better. How would this help your organisation?

Tea and TED at 3

I will think of you, you think of me, when we have Tea and TED at 3! Today we are watching ‘Listening to Shame‘. Will you be joining us? #ShowMeTheTea

People Who Love Their Jobs

We love the conclusion in this article “Nothing beats the excitement that comes with a company running on all cylinders, doing what it is designed to do with people who love their jobs”. What do you love about your job?

Want to keep in touch and let us support and guide you with our regular updates?
